Despite the fact that one can access options like "collapse to icon". For instance if I change the width of columns in the library pane (or their order), that's lost when I close and re-open the pane. The floating panes do not retain some customizations. Not everybody owns GIANT high res screens.ģ. The main toolbar has GIANT cartoonish looking icons that cannot be made smaller. Captivate uses toolbars with a fixed position that cannot be customized. it would be just as easy to print on RTF format or the free ODF Ģ. I think that a PAID software should not assume that users own other commercial software to perform basic functions like printing. of course it's my fault for sure, not Adobe. and often does not recognize the existence of Microsoft Office on a computer (a long standing problem if I have to believe old posts. Captivate still relies on Office for some functions. Now regarding the 10 years of Captivate development and maturity. but if Adobe has plans to make it freeware, that's ok with me I am more than happy to pay for Captivate. I do not remember asking for Captivate (or any other software) to be free. everything sounds smart when spoken with a British accent or make enough money so to be able to buy something else PS I selected Bridget. Unfortunately I can't ship my computer to Adobe so that they can take their time and look, I need it to work. nobody seems to know WHY these things happen, and does not seem possible to run AC into some sort of developer mode so to generate a log that software engineers can examine to troubleshoot. I know of RW and L, and I received answers from L in the past (the office problem). Again appreciated you taking the time to answer this question. I can't afford the other more expensive alternatives. my frustration is having to pay for this software that is (in my humble opinion) full of bugs which Adobe does not care to investigate at depth to fix. which evidently (and you confirm) it's not true. In addition Adobe Support says that C10 should work only on Sierra. I have the same problem with Captivate (9 and 10) not recognizing the existence of Microsoft Office on my Mac anymore (for a while they did, then they didn't and then nothing). they seem to have no clue on what is actually going on. and besides the re-install suggestion or "erase the preferences". but I have no idea why (as I did not understand while the voices stopped working before). Believe it or not now it's working again. First of all thank you for the suggestion.
